プールストラ愛プロフィール Ai Poelstra Profile

プールストラ愛 1984年生まれ。福岡県うきは市内在住。独学で植物画を学び、主に野生の動植物を描いている。
これまでに福岡県内各地、大分県で個展を開催。近年では、MINOU BOOKSうきは店（福岡県うきは市）、gallery cobaco（福岡県朝倉市）、旧永山武四郎邸/旧三菱鉱業寮(北海道札幌市）、MINOU BOOKS久留米店（福岡県久留米市）で個展を開催。2026年3月にはgallery cobaco『薔薇の絵画展』に招待作家として出展、7月には容画廊（鹿児島県鹿児島市）で個展を開催する。また、月に2度、自宅で絵画教室を開いている。
著書に「森の家から（光村出版/2000年 完売、絶版）」、「四季のきせき（共同文化社/2022年）」がある。
また、ピアニストとしても活動しており、夫のピアニスト・ピアノ講師のエルウィン・プールストラとピアノデュオも組んでいる。
Ai Poelstra was born in 1984 and lives in Ukiha city, Fukuoka prefecture. She learnt painting by herself、she specifically paints wild plants and animals.
Her book 'From the Forest House'was published by Mitsumura publishing company. Her second book 'Miracle/Traces of the Seasons' was published by Kyodo Bunkasha publishing company in March 2022.
Ai Poelstra's works were exhibited at various places in Kyushu. Apart from her activities as a painter, she is also a concert pianist.
